Total Number of Beds
The Day Care Centre accommodates a total of 32 users with a “mild to moderate” level of care needs, divided into two groups of 16 users.
In connection with the Day Care Centre, home-based interventions are also provided for a further 20 users in conditions of “severe” impairment.
Services Provided
The Centre designs, implements and evaluates intervention programmes based on the ABA method. In particular, it provides the following services:
Individualised educational programmes for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders, communication disorders and behavioural disorders
Parent training
Training for teachers
Training for practitioners
Supervision for ABA master’s students
Practical placements supervised by BCBA/ADC
Social skills groups
Functional analysis and management of challenging behaviours
Personal autonomy programmes
ABA workshops
Social skills groups
Courses for Behaviour Technicians – TdC
Skills assessment for ABA technicians
Group supervision for practitioners
Agreements / Accreditations with Public Authorities
The Centre operates within the framework of the Polo Cittadino Alzheimer Project, whose ownership lies with the Dipartimento Politiche Sociali Sussidiarietà e Salute – Direzione Servizi alla Persona e Integrazione Socio-Sanitaria – U.O Interventi di Supporto alla Persone fragili, which entrusts Medihospes with the delivery of the activities.
Support for the service is also provided by Municipio X and Asl Rm 3.
