Our history begins in 1982,
when a group of young construction professionals from Basilicata decided to join forces to establish a small business.
With the entry of new management staff in 1989, we grew rapidly, gaining regional recognition. From that point onwards, we expanded across the country, operating in various areas of building construction and plant engineering.
In 2013, it acquires Geomedia-Net Srl, incorporating it on a permanent basis in 2014.
This enables us to enter the rail technology and telecommunications sector. In the same period, we establish a strong synergy with Consorzio La Cascina, consolidating our presence in Southern Italy and opening new branches to serve contracts also in Central and Northern Italy.
This allows us to develop expertise in new areas, including maintenance, global service and ultra-broadband networks.
Since 2017, we have been part of Consorzio La Cascina, becoming La Cascina Costruzioni Srl, a single-member company subject to the direction and coordination of Vivenda SpA
In 2020, we welcome NOS into our group, a company specialising in the design and delivery of signage, furnishings and communications for airports, stations and shopping centres, as well as special installations, re-charge points and display stands.
This strategic acquisition enables us to broaden our expertise, becoming a reference point for the sector.
In 2021, with the acquisition of a business unit from Idroclima Srl, we expanded our activities to include the delivery of mechanical and technological systems. Today, our Plant Engineering Division provides a full range of services:

We have always believed in the power of technological innovation to improve the efficiency and safety of railway infrastructure. Thanks to our experience and expertise, we deliver railway signalling installations, GSM-R systems, TLC and fibre optic systems, as well as electric traction installations and cutting-edge technological solutions.
We work with the leading players in the railway sector, both nationally and internationally, supporting major organisations such as RFI – Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, Ferrovie del Sud-Est, FAL – Ferrovie Appulo Lucane, Ferrovie del Nord Barese, Ferrovie del Gargano, Trenord and Alstom.

We manage every stage of the process, from design to construction, from commercialisation to installation, through to the maintenance and management of a wide range of systems. For over 30 years, we have designed and delivered specialist signage solutions, furnishings and communication systems for airports, shopping centres and exhibition venues. Our approach combines design, architecture and marketing to provide products of excellence, ensuring the highest quality and impeccable service.
We create bespoke interior and exterior fit-outs, developing made-to-measure furnishings, display units and illuminated furniture, as well as multimedia and interactive totems that enhance the user experience.
One of our main sectors is the airport industry, where we operate at the principal national hubs. We are responsible for the design and delivery of specialist elements, such as cladding in composite materials, Corian® and steel, as well as supports for information panels and decorative features. We work with metalworkers, glaziers and carpenters to integrate artisanal craftsmanship and innovation. In addition, we work with brands such as Whirlpool, SMEG and Lenovo to create illuminated and interactive display units. With the Progetto Recharge, we develop integrated solutions for charging and connectivity, enhancing the functionality of public and commercial spaces.
Each of our projects stems from the desire to innovate, simplify and improve the interaction between people and the spaces they experience every day.
A delegation from the Ministry of Education, visiting Sinnai to verify the progress of works on the new lower secondary school, recognised the project delivered by La Cascina Costruzioni as a best practice, owing to the exceptionally rapid start-up and delivery times.
In practice, the building will be the first in Sardinia to be completed under the PNRR programme for school construction and, in all likelihood, among the first at national level as well.
Handover of the school is scheduled by the end of June, fully in time for the start of the next academic year.
